Bill scored a tremendous win at the New Mexico Democratic Party's Pre-Primary Nominating Convention! Bill won with 49% of the delegates in a four-way race. The next two candidates in the race got 36% and 13%. This means Bill's name will be first on the primary ballot. Since the victory, the emails and phone calls have been pouring in. We can feel the momentum getting even stronger!
"This young man will be a star of our party in the very near future. I don’t even think he begins to know just how talented he is when it comes to politics. Bill McCamley is a natural and a find that we cannot let him get away. He took the highest vote count from CD2 with over 40% of the vote. Even if he is young, this man gets it in a way that no other candidate from CD2 has gotten it in years. The democratic voters in CD2 need to listen to this man speak."
"I got to hear both candidates speak yesterday. McCamley clearly has the grassroots support. I think that Bill McCamley could do a great job if financial supporters would get behind him and help funded his campaign. No where in this state should a candidate be permitted to buy their way into a Congressional seat."
